Walking the thin line between science and art

“Thanks for visiting my digital space, I’m always looking to connect to the human beyond the digital screen. If you are looking for someone who can dive deep into the needs of your client, user or customer to translate that into digital strategy and experience design for you OR want to share ideas about the future of digital interfaces and experiences, happy to chat.

In case you’re looking to get a glimpse of me outside of my work folio, here’s one para to scratch that itch. I’ve walked the thin line between science and art, pretty much my whole life. That has defined where I’ve gone, what I’ve done and who I’ve become. I went to a design school, and my dissertation was a metaverse. I went to a tech school before that and I used AI to analyse human emotions. I worked at a wellness studio and dedicated myself to designing the smoothest phygital setup possible. The intersection of these two sides of me, has made me who I am. A lover of the arts, good food shared with good people, collaborative environments, deep introspections about science and bringing structure to the unstructured. Lately, I’ve been dedicating time to research and preparing myself to creative-produce an immersive experience.

Now to get back to my work, in my roles I am most proud to have clarified the business’ perspective of the humans they wish to serve by giving the end-user autonomy and placing them in the spotlight, making the humane way also the way to build a flourishing product, business or brand. I am an advocate for systems that unite humans and I’ve reaffirmed through my career journey that the best designs and experiences we can craft will always be inclusive, responsible, ethical, collective and creative.

This includes the 200+ diverse client base that I supported in seamless hybrid wellbeing experiences at triyoga, helping Ecoveeve anchor into their unique selling proposition (USP) of slow, sustainable lifestyle settings without compromise on charm, and advocating for the needs of the users of cybersecurity tool Sentrinus. In all these cases, I am proud to have uncovered valuable insights and presented strategies that have helped the businesses optimize their effort by offering attention to their client’s needs above all and mitigating future crises through early disapproval of non-human-centered approaches.

The things outside of my technical skills that I enjoy bringing to my work is bringing humans closer together to do great things, establishing a work culture in teams that keeps everyone genuinely motivated, healthy and enriched, and the thing that’s naturally made me fall into the work I’ve been doing for 5 years now - being an empath. Working with businesses across EU, Asia and USA, I always seek to create and put myself in healthy collaborative environments where humans have an empathetic, collective learning mindset, and thrive together to do great things. Working in and creating these wonderful teams has been the driving factor that helped me deliver impact and large-scale deliveries, no doubt.”
